We have Flat Elizabeth. She has been with us for about a week and a half. I plan to mail her to Charlotte, North Carolina later this week. I’ve attached a few pictures from her trip with us.
So far, Flat Elizabeth has:
- Celebrated Dia de los Muertos with us! We are a hispanic family and we LOVE to celebrate. We went to see different ofrendas of different families (or altars…think like the movie Coco!) and went out to a fancy Mexican restaurant to celebrate.
- My daughter is 11 years old and went to Spain for 8 weeks with her school on an exchange program. Flat Elizabeth came with us to welcome her home. It was VERY exciting!
- My best friend’s parents retired. They owned a convenience shop for 38 years. That’s a long time, huh? Flat Elizabeth went to their retirement party and took a picture with the guests of honor.
- Our professional soccer team, FC Tulsa, was in the semi-finals. We won 0-1 in extra time and it was our team’s first-ever in a Western Conference Final match. We aren’t a huge soccer family, but we enjoy it. This was a VERY exciting game.
We are sad our time with Flat Elizabeth is coming to an end but we have had a really great time. I hope to send a few more pics before I pass her on.
