Louisiana is checking in again. I am sorry that last week we did not include the class name in our email at the WWII museum!. This week, Stanley had fun at the Duck Derby in Houma, Louisiana.
The duck derby is a charity event hosted by the Houma Elks lodge to support Veterans with different programs in our community. Stanley had a great time selling the ducks and tee shirts for the event! Stanely rooted on the ducks in the bayou for a winner and had a great time!
He also took time to listen to the live local music and even got to sit in a real live fire truck! The fire truck used their great fire hose to help propel the rubber ducks down the bayou toward the finish line! It was a great community turnout and Stanley had a wonderful time.
