Flat Charlotte in Yorkshire

What a delight it has been to have Flat Charlotte staying with us here in Yorkshire, UK this weekend. She had a great day out on Saturday – we took her to the city of York which is famous for two things – it’s huge cathedral, called York Minster, and its Roman history.

Flat Charlotte thought York Minster was huge! And she enjoyed learning about how the Romans used to live where York is now. We took her round York Museum.

She behaved so well, we took her to the Christmas market in York city centre and treated her to a doughnut.

She’s now off on her travels again!

Good luck class 3B with your exciting project and I hope all your flat children arrive back home safely next year.

With Best Wishes

Rowan (Charlotte’s cousin)
